What Is The Executive Concierge Addiction Treatment Program?

The Executive Concierge Addiction Treatment Program is a premier service designed for individuals who value privacy, high level of access to the treatment team, the latest advancements in addiction treatment, and personal attention. Admission to this program is highly selective and limited. I work with no more than 10 clients in the program. My past distinguished clientele includes professional coaches, athletes, political figures, financial executives, CEOs, business owners, and film industry professionals, with clients traveling from as far as the Middle East. A comprehensive assessment is conducted before acceptance, during which we review your personal history, health records, and laboratory results. This initial consultation may last up to three hours and includes advanced testing—analyzing over 500 biomarkers such as genetics, enzymes, hormones, vitamins, and more—alongside any necessary imaging studies. We meticulously evaluate every potential factor that could influence your condition and recovery, and in some cases, we collaborate with other specialists to ensure a complete understanding of your needs. We want to get at the source of your addiction, and parse out the reasons why you haven't been able to maintain long-term sobriety.

Following this thorough assessment, we present the findings and decide together whether proceeding with the program is the most appropriate course of action. To further accommodate your busy schedule, I also offer in-home visits in states where I am licensed, ensuring discreet, personalized care that meets the highest standards of excellence. This is a truly individualized approach to addiction treatment where advanced science and compassionate care come together to support your journey toward lasting recovery.

Why Concierge Addiction Treatment Matters
Addiction is not merely a medical condition—it is a disease that is often caused by your genetic risks and environmental exposures. Furthermore, a cascade of consequences occur secondary to the substance abuse that is often never addressed in traditional standard of care treatment. Don't get me wrong, the standard of care works for a lot of people. However, I've found that when the recovery process hits a wall, it's often very helpful to look at other factors that could be contributing to the impasse. Let me discuss just a few of these problems.

Complexities of Addiction

  • Genetic Factors: Research shows that genetic predisposition accounts for about 60% of the risk for addiction. Furthermore, genetic variations can influence how you metabolize medications, affecting both the efficacy and safety of standard treatments. We begin our program by assessing your genetic makeup. Genetic testing is not used as a sole indicator of Substance Use Disorder risk. Instead, testing your unique genetic profile early in the process alongside with other well established assessment tools, ensure that your recovery plan is both personalized, optimized, and comprehensive.

  • Vitamin Deficiencies: Opioid, methamphetamine, and alcohol addictions often result in significant vitamin B, C, D, and Zinc deficiencies among others. These deficiencies can adversely affect your healing process, metabolism, and mood. Despite their critical role in recovery, vitamin tests are rarely performed in standard addiction care. In our program, comprehensive vitamin profiling is integral for designing an effective treatment plan. Supplementation is specific to your unique needs. I need all of your micronutrients to be optimal.

  • Hormone Imbalances: Addiction can disrupt hormonal balance in both men and women, contributing to mental health challenges and symptoms that are reminiscent to withdrawal. Looking back to the earlier period of my career, there were many baffling patients who were not responding well to treatment that I now realized were struggling because of undiagnosed hormone imbalances. While conventional treatment may overlook hormone replacement therapy, our approach proactively identifies and addresses these deficiencies to support both your physical, emotional well-being, and avoid relapse.

  • Chronic Pain: Many individuals develop substance use disorders while seeking relief from chronic pain. Recent famous cases—such as those of Prince and Michael Jackson—highlight how unmanaged pain can fuel long-term addiction. Our process includes advanced imaging, precise diagnosis, and targeted interventions to manage chronic pain concurrently with addiction recovery.

  • Trauma and PTSD: Recognizing that trauma often plays a critical role in addiction, we have incorporated advanced therapies into our treatment protocols. Techniques such as Stellate Ganglion Blocks have demonstrated dramatic improvements in withdrawal symptoms and overall sobriety. Building on these successes, our innovative ketamine program specifically addresses trauma-related challenges, making this comprehensive approach especially relevant for our Executive Concierge Addiction Medicine Program.

  • Advanced, Innovative Addiction Treatment: After completing a comprehensive series of labs, imaging studies, genetic tests, and preliminary diagnoses, we conduct an exhaustive literature review of all the findings. This process helps us uncover the newer breakthroughs, treatments, and discoveries in addiction medicine that may have been published as recent as today so they can be implemented immediately.

  • Gut Brain Microbiota and Inflammation: A growing body of research identified the pivotal role that gut microbiota—the bacteria living in your digestive tract—plays in influencing your mental health and overall well-being. Serotonin, one of the body’s most important neurotransmitters for mood regulation, is predominantly produced in the gut.

My perspective on the gut-brain connection was changed in a very stunning way. A client, struggling with severe anxiety and palpitations, had not found relief through multiple conventional assessments and treatments. Through another gastrointestinal specialist, she discovered multiple imbalances within her gut microbiota.

Following treatment plan aimed at restoring gut health and reducing inflammation, her symptoms vanished dramatically. This breakthrough not only alleviated her mental distress but also enabled us to begin tapering her off buprenorphine, previously used to manage her opioid dependence.

This experience has been a major eye-opener for me and it reinforced incorporating gut health assessments into our comprehensive, personalized approach to addiction treatment and recovery.
